About The Avanti Guitar Trio
The Avanti Guitar Trio is an exciting chamber ensemble whose approachable and welcoming performances are filled with verve and subtlety. Classical guitarists Amy Brucksch, Julie Goldberg and Christopher Teves blend pristine technique and nuanced musical interpretations, earning critical acclaim for their captivating concerts and varied programming.
Avanti’s extensive repertoire ranges from Baroque to Contemporary, and features newly composed music, creative transcriptions of classical masterpieces, and rock, pop or jazz tunes. Amy, Julie, and Chris met while studying at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Clare Callahan. Each has gone on to pursue active careers in performance, composition, and teaching. All relish their time together collaborating and performing as a national touring ensemble.
Formed in 2010, the Avanti Guitar Trio continues to expand their eclectic repertoire by composing and arranging new works and collaborating with established and upcoming composers.
