About Jazzville – Jazz Trio & Vocals
Welcome to Jazzville – Jazzville unfolds selections from the American Song Book that are timeless and flexible in their ability to withstand countless interpretations. This dynamic jazz quartet will ignite your imagination with its boundless and transformational creativity. Experience an emotionally engaging synchronization as Jazzville explores the relationship between dissonance and consonance. This musical offering is a celebration of individuality and collaboration.
Bronwyn Cronin’s voice has graced venues as magnificent as the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France as well as obscure villages in Nepal and India. Bronwyn is a third-generation jazz musician who loves to explore jazz history as well as compose new arrangements. Pianist, composer, scholar and educator William Bares received his Ph.D in ethnomusicology from Harvard University. He taught at Harvard, Brown, Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory prior to serving as professor of music and co-director of jazz studies at UNC Asheville.
Zack Page has been performing as a professional bassist for over three decades. His work with prestigious jazz ensembles, theater companies, and the cruise industry has taken him to all 50 States, the Caribbean islands, Australia, South America, Europe and the Far East. Alan Hall has been a professional drummer for over 45 years. Hall has performed and/or recorded with international jazz artists Lee Konitz, Paul McCandless, Art Lande, Ed Simon, Geoffrey Keezer, Kenny Washington, Rebecca Parris, and Joyce Cooling.
