For this event we’re going to loosen things up a bit. A number of attendees have agreed to bring in some of their gear, so we’re going to set up multiple small demos and allow more time and space for individual exploration and networking. Synths, resonator speakers, MIDI/synth percussion and more should be on the menu for this one.

These events are free (with registration) and are intended to create a welcoming space to listen, learn, and connect around the art and craft of electronic sound. Use the ticket link to register.
And a historical note—“Electrophone Salon” is not a new phrase. It was also used to describe a listening center, like a café or club, in London (Victorian/Edwardian era circa 1890s-1920s) where people paid to use special headsets to hear live theatre, music, and church services transmitted over telephone lines, acting as an early form of live-streaming before radio became popular.
